Lightwave Carbon is currently acquiring land suitable for afforestation in the UK.

Following land acquisition, each separate project will be developed and entered for accreditation under the Woodland Carbon Code, the quality assurance standard for woodland creation projects in the UK (https://woodlandcarboncode.org.uk).

The initial projects under consideration are projected to sequester over 40,000 tCO2e.

Lightwave Carbon is also seeking to back third party afforestation projects via the purchase of PIUs from accredited projects under the Woodland Carbon Code.
